In April 2017, the Veterans and Veterans Families Counselling Service (VVCS) introduced a series of community mental health webinars drawing on the lived experience of members of the veteran and ex-service community, coupled with the expertise of clinical professionals, to start a community discussion on the identification, treatment and recovery from military trauma.
These webinars each focused on individual topics relevant to the community, including sleep disturbance, exercise and PTSD.
Upcoming community webinars in 2018 will be hosted by Dr Mark Creamer and cover the topics of Relationships, Military Transition, Suicide Prevention, Families, Anger and Chronic Pain. Please see the table below for topics and dates.
